5.3 Rotating function of the board
By slightly loosening the bolt on the board holder, the board
can be removed and rotated 360°. Then tighten the wing nut
again.
6 Care and cleaning
Thoroughly clean the fl aming salmon board as well as the
holes in the wood with clear, warm water and dishwashing
detergent. Afterwards allow to dry standing upright with suf-
fi cient free space. The metal parts are dishwasher safe. The
fl aming salmon board is a natural product and will deform
during and after use. Some cracking might occur, but this
does not impact the board's use.
7 Recipe suggestion
Season the salmon fi llet with Axtschlag BBQ Rub for Salmon
or with the Axtschlag Smoked Salt and let it sit for approx. 1-2
hours. After cooking for about 40-60 minutes, the salmon will
be ready to serve. You'll know it's ready when white protein
rises to the surface. Alternatively, this can also be determined
with a core temperature gauge.
