The LXMADI control panel window is displayed during the

driver installation process so that you can configure its

parameters.

Clock settings
● Sample rate
Sampling frequency value of the internal clock. In case

the clock source is MADI or WordClock, make sure the

selected frequency value matches the frequency of the

external clock (see section Input Status)
● Clock source: Sampling clock can be generated

internally (Internal), or can be the MADI input (MADI

in), or the Word Clock input (Word Clock in).
● Word Clock out
This parameter is accessible only if Clock Source is not

set to "Word Clock in".
Check this option so that the card outputs a Word

Clock signal that is generated from the selected clock

source (except Word Clock in).

Options
● Channel Mode: channel mode of the MADI output.
64 / 32 channels (at 44.1  & 48 kHz / 88.2 & 96 kHz)
32 / 28 channels (at 44.1  & 48 kHz / 88.2 & 96 kHz)
Note that LXMADI always receives 64 (or 32)

channels even in 56 (28) channels mode.
● Frame rate
Frame rate of MADI receiver and transmitter. Nominal
Sample Rate: 1 frame = 1 channel (64 channels at 48
kHz, and 32 channels at 96 kHz).
Half Sample Rate: Allows transporting 96 kHz in 48
kHz frames (1 frame = 2 channels).

Input Status
This section displays information reported from the card.
● Current clock: displays the current clock source and its

frequency.
● MADI Frame rate: returns the frame rate detected on

the MADI input, and if the MADI optical signal is

received correctly (Locked) or not (Unlocked).
Current clock frequency and MADI frame rate can be

different. Foir instance the requested clock can be 96

000Hz, and the MADI frame rate can be 48 000Hz (2

channels per frame).
● Word Clock: displays the detected frequency on the

word clock input.
Note: parameters displayed in red mean there is a

mismatch between the requested clock value and the

detected value, or if the card does not receive the MADI

signal.

Click on "OK" to confirm the parameters.
