Recording from a CD
XL-T300H

Before recording:
z When recording important selections, make a preliminary test to
ensure that the desired material is properly recorded.
z SHARP is not liable for damage or loss of your recording arising
from malfunction of this unit.
z The volume and sound controls can be adjusted with no effect on
the recorded signal (Variable Sound Monitor).
z For recording, use only normal tapes. Do not use Metal or
CrO tapes.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

Press the FUNCTION button until "CD STOP" appears
on the display.
z When operating with the remote control, press the CD but-
ton.
z If no disc is loaded, the display will be "NO DISC" instead of
"CD STOP".

Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD/Cas-
sette compartment.

Load the desired disc.

Load a cassette into the cassette compartment with the
side to be recorded on facing up.
Wind past the leader of the tape, on which recording cannot be
performed.

Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button to close the CD/Cas-
sette compartment.

Press the
button.
Recording will be paused.
