The device is factory set to active RS485 (2W) interface (DIP-SWITCHA - OFF default
configuration) for all serial ports.

The unit parameters are configured using the three DIP switches on the rear of the unit. They are
used to configure the RING, serial interface parameters and to switch the operating modes of the
device.
