Displaying Properties
To view printer [Properties], follow the steps outlined below: The diagrams (screens) used here give an example of
Windows XP.

For Windows XP/Server 2003:
Select [Start] - [Control Panel] and open the Control
Panel. Next, click on [Printers and Other Hardware].
Then, click on [Printers and Faxes].
For Windows 2000:
Select [Start] - [Settings] - [Printers].

Place the mouse pointer on the printer icon. Right
click and select [Properties].

Click [General] or [Sharing] tab to switch the view
shown under Properties. For an explanation of each
item, see Online Help.
To view Online Help, place the mouse pointer
over the item. Right click and select [Help].
