Operating with Win7

This is a quick guide on how to operate a

projector using a computer running Microsofts

Windows 7 Operating System.

Connect the your computer to the projector via VGA, DVI, or

HDMI cord, or using a MiniDisplayport to VGA adapter. The projector

should automatically project the computer's desktop as a Duplicated

display.

If the projector is not automatically enabled, open up the Start

Menu, go to Control Panel, and under the Display section, select

'Connect to a Projector'

From here, you can select how you would like your computer to

handle projection in 4 ways: from either a Duplicated or Extended

desktop, or limiting the display to only the Projector, or the Monitor.

A Duplicate desktop will show what your computer display will show

on the projector, while an Extended display will stretch your display to

the left or right of your screen. You can learn more about Extended vs

Pressing the Windows Key + P will cycle between these modes on

Windows 7.
