3. Take out the cardboard panels from around

the printer.

4. Remove the polystyrene foam stoppers under

the printer.

Make sure that all of the items shown below are

included, and are not damaged.

Roll paper spindle

Roll paper

(EPSON Doubleweight Matte Paper; 5 m)

Ink cartridges (Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, Light

Cyan, Light Magenta, Black1, Black2)

Roll paper belt

(for keeping roll paper wound up)

Power cord

(In the document pack)

Printer unit

Note:

The shape of the AC plug varies by country; be sure

the plug included is the right shape for your

location.

The power cord location varies form country to

country. If you can not find the power cord in the

document box, see the polystyrene foam (L)

mentioned in "Unpacking the printer" on page 4.

Mounting the printer on the base unit

1. Lock the two casters (S) and extend the two

stabilizer knobs (T) underneath the base unit.

Note:

Place the casters sideways and lock them so they

will not move.
