PCI Latency Timer

Ths tem controls how long each PCI devce can hold the bus before another

takes over. When set to hgher values, every PCI devce can conduct trans-

actons for a longer tme and thus mprove the effectve PCI bandwdth. For

better PCI performance, you should set the tem to hgher values.

Legacy USB Support

Set to [Enabled] f you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0 devce n the operatng

system that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0 drver nstalled, such

as DOS and SCO Unx.

Audio Controller

Ths settng enables/dsables the onboard audo controller.

Launch PXE OpROM,

Ths settng enables/dsables the ntalzaton of the onboard LAN Boot ROM

durng bootup. Selectng [Dsabled] wll speed up the boot process.

Serial Port Console Redirection

Console Redirection

Console Redrecton operates n host systems that do not have a montor and

keyboard attached. Ths settng enables/dsables the operaton of console re-

drecton. When set to [Enabled], BIOS redrects and sends all contents that

should be dsplayed on the screen to the seral COM port for dsplay on the

termnal screen. Besdes, all data receved from the seral port s nterpreted

as keystrokes from a local keyboard.

Console Redirection Settings

Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu.

Terminal Type

To operate the system's console redrecton, you need a termnal support-

ng ANSI termnal protocol and a RS-232 null modem cable connected be-

tween the host system and termnal(s). Ths settng specfes the type of

termnal devce for console redrecton.
