To watch "Video image" on the "Front Display",
park your vehicle in a safe place and apply the
handbrake.
See "Handbrake interlock" in the Operation
Manual for more information.
When using a display connected to
REAR MONITOR OUTPUT
• NEVER install the "Rear Display" in a loca-
tion that enables the driver to watch
"Video image" while driving.
This navigation system's REAR MONITOR
OUTPUT is for connection to a display to enable
passengers in the rear seats to watch "Video
image".
➲ Setting the source to rear source ➞ Operation
Manual
❒ The map screen navigation images output to
the "Rear Display" differ from standard NTSC
format images. Therefore, the quality will be
inferior to the images that appear on the
"Front Display".
❒ The navigation system automatically switches
between the colour system (NTSC, PAL,
SECAM) for each video and outputs the video
on the "Rear Display". To correctly output
each type of video on the "Rear Display", we
recommend using a "Rear Display" with a
function to automatically switch the colour
system (e.g. AVD-W1100V).
