TAPE FADER
{function for fading out recorded tapes}
With this function, it is possible to change any portion of a recorded
tape into a fade-out.
Sound fades to no-signal recording after approx,
two to three
nds and the tape stops after approx.
10 seconds.
When the tape is played back, the sound will gradually start decreas-
ing from the beginning of the faded portion, and be cut off completely
in approxirnately
1O seconds
1, Load the recorded tape into deck ft
Tape fader can not be used on deck |
2, Operate deck Il to set the tape to the beginning of the portion to
be faded out.
3. Press the FADER switch 3).
© The FADER indicator will fight. The DIRECTION indicators (B and
~@)} flash
4. Press the PLAY switch (Be or ~«@) i).
* The fade-out operation will start, then stop after approximately
10 seconds
NOTE:
* Hfunwanted sound remains after the fade-out, use the MUTE switch
( O/ to erase it.
* Make sure that the cassette's accidental erasure prevention tab (for
the side in use) is not broken off.
A.S.E.S.
(Auto Synchro Editing System)
(This function can be used with the Pioneer PD-272T or PD-282M CD
player when the CONTROL terminal of the CD player is connected to
that of the tuner.)
For automatic recording of a CD to a cassette tape. This unit offers three
kinds of ASES operation.
FADE:
The sound will fade out automatically at the end of the tape
PARALLEL:
Deck | and deck I record at the
same time
The sound will fade out automatically at the end of the
tape.

1. Put discs in the CD piayer.
2. Put a tape to be recorded in deck I.
Put tapes to be recorded in both deck { and deck fl if you are going
to perform PARALLEL or RELAY recording
Set the DOLBY NR switch ) te the desired position.
Set the REVERSE MODE
switch ©? to the desired position.
To record the sound passed through the equalizer, turn on the
EQUALIZER switch and use the equalizer controls to adjust the
sound quality.
6. Press one of the ASES switches (FADE, PARALLEL, RELAY)

When the WAKE
UP timer is on, the sound fades out when the SLEEP
TIMER cuts the power.
However, when the WAKE
UP timer
is off, or
