CD Mode Operations
Loading a disc
If the unit is not set to CD mode, when you insert
a CD into the CD insertion slot with the labeled
side facing up, playback begins automatically.
* When loading a 3-inch single CD (8 cm CD), load
it straight in from the center of the slot.
*When a 3-inch single CD {8 cm CD) is loaded,
"c:

* Load a 3-inch single CD (8 cm CD) without any
adapter.

Listening to the CD already inserted
Press the FUNC button 5D and select CD mode.
Playback begins automatically.
* When a CD is already inserted, DISC IN indicator

Press the Play/Pause button

To resume playback, press the Play/Pause but¬
ton US again.
Pause display
Ejecting the CD
Press the Eject button g] to eject the CD.
* CDs are automatically reloaded after 15 seconds
if they are left in the ejected position.
Single CDs are not reloaded. Be sure to remove
them.
Top play function
Press the Top Play button 53 to play from the
first song (track number 1 of the CD).
Selecting tracks (songs)
Press the Up button 0H or the Down button 53.
►>: Starts playback from the beginning of the
following track.
<◄: Starts playback from the beginning of the
current track. If pressed again, the track
moves to the previous one.
Fast-forward and fast-backward
Press and hold the Up button 5U or the Down
button 53.
►> : Fast-forwards the disc.
<◄: Fast-backwards the disc.
* Pressing and holding the button for 1 second or
longer will move forward or backward 5 times
faster than normal play, and pressing and holding
it for 3 seconds or longer will do the operation 30
times faster.
