All Phaser 8400 Printers Come
With INTELLIGENT READY
DON'T TURN OFF THE PRINTER.
The printer features Intelligent Ready
software that tracks when and how the
printer is used. Tracking these patterns
over a rolling three-week period, the
printer automatically places itself in a
standby power-saving mode during
periods of non-use. The printer will
automatically return to its Ready mode,
just prior to an expected use period,
avoiding any warm-up time and
minimising power usage in periods of
non-use.

EASY TO SET UP AND INSTALL
The Phaser 8400 colour printer includes a number of software-based features to boost user
productivity and make the printer easier to install, use and manage. First, unpack and set up

•
Load the "Rainbow Pack" of solid ink sticks supplied with the printer.

Load the paper tray.

Install the driver software onto your host computers, using the Printer Installer and Utilities
CD-ROM included with the printer, or directly from the optional internal hard drive.
The CD installation experience is also available for download from the Xerox website.
