Troubleshooting

Problem

When the PortaTone is turned on

or off, a buzzing sound is tempo-

rarily produced.

The rhythm suddenly stops or the

selected Voice is suddenly changed

to the Piano Voice.

Not all notes are heard when

playing a number of notes

simultaneously.

* The default voices change to other voices during the chord progressions.

Cause

Power current is flowing into the

PortaTone.

The battery power is too low.

Too many keys are pressed at

the same time.

Solution

This is not a malfunction.

Replace the batteries.

The PortaTone is polyphonic

up to a maximum of 12 notes.
