The set includes:
- Torque Wrench 2 – 10Nm
- Torque Wrench 0.4 – 2Nm
- ¼'' Handle
- 100mm extension bar
- 12mm deep socket
• Wearing safety glasses is recommended
• Unlock and turn the adjuster to the lowest setting for storage. Be careful: do not turn the adjuster lower that the
minimum torque setting, it can damage the mechanism.
• Use the torque wrench correctly, put all components into the box after using.
• Do not store in areas of high temperatures or humidity.
• Using the torque wrench to tighten a fastener to a higher torque than the maximum reading on the scale is
forbidden.
• Keep the torque wrench straight so that sideways pressure is not being applied to the valve body.
• Tighten the valve securing nut in a controlled manner and stop applying pressure when the torque wrench clicks.
If you tighten too quickly the nal torque gure will not be correct.
• Keep the sensor unit straight so that sideways pressure is not being applied as the valve securing nut is tightened.
Before attempting to remove or re t a TPMS sensor, refer to instructions manual.
Some sensors have a detachable valve body. This is usually secured with a self-locking mounting screw – ¼" T10
and T20 socket bits are supplied for this screw.
The torque wrench is used to re t or t a new sensor to the wheel rim.
To set the torque wrench:
1.To free the adjuster, pull the lock – adjuster down.
2. Turn adjuster clockwise to increase the tension setting (or anticlockwise to decrease).
3. Set the Nm indicator and then on the 2 -10Nm torque wrench, ne tune the setting by referring to the tenths
indicator. When the gure is displayed in the center of the indicator window, the setting is correct.
4. Push lock- adjuster up and fully home to lock the setting.
5. If using the 2-10 Nm torque wrench, attach ¼" handle and choose the correct deep socket (11mm or 12mm)
for the valve securing nut.
6. If using the 0.4 – 2Nm torque wrench, choose the appropriate deep socket (11mm or 12mm) for the valve
securing nut, there is no need for the T- handle at these lower torque settings.
During operation, when the preset torque is reached, the torque wrench will "click" and disengage to indicate that
the chosen torque tensioning has been reached.
