Monitor Brightness
Description
Specifies the name of the power plan that the power
agenda will switch to.
Possible values include:
• Not configured
• Enabled
• Disabled
If you set the Action policy setting to Switch to a power
plan, you should enable this policy setting and input a
power plan name. See the Action policy setting in Table 5
"User Configuration ® Administrative Template ® Lenovo
ThinkVantage Components ® Desktop Power Manager for
Vista and Windows7 (Power Manager) ® Power Agenda
Deployments ® Power Agenda1" on page 23.
If the power plan name does not exist on client computers,
the power agenda will not switch to this power plan.
Note: The limit of the power plan name is 32 single-byte
characters. If the power plan name is double-byte, the
limit is 16 characters.
If you disable or do not configure this policy setting,
but set the Action policy setting to Switch to a power
plan, users cannot use this power agenda on client
computers. See the Action policy setting in Table 5
