CAUTION:
Before using the smoke detectors silence mode, identify the source of the
smoke and be certain a safe condition exists.

Maintenance and Cleaning

There are a few simple steps you need do to keep it working properly:
1. Test the smoke detector once a month.
2. Do not paint the smoke detector. Paint will seal the vents and interfere with
the sensor's ability to detect smoke.
3. Never attempt to disassemble the smoke detector to clean inside. This will
damage the alarm.
4. Clean the smoke detector at least once a month to remove dust, dirt or
debris. Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush and vacuum all sides and
covers of the smoke detector.

under normal use and service for a period of 2 years from the date of
purchase. During the specified warranty period, we will repair or replace any
defective smoke detector that is returned. Please contact us at
order number along with a brief description of what is wrong with the unit.
Damage from neglect, abuse or failure to adhere to any of the enclosed
instructions will result in termination of the warranty, and the unit will not be
replaced or repaired.
This warranty shall not apply to the smoke detector if it has been damaged,
modified, abused or altered after the date of purchase or if it fails to operate
due to improper maintenance.
