Step 3

Installing mounting brackets to vehicle

3.1 Locate and remove the factory rubber grommets

found along the vehicle's LHS (Left Hand Side) sill

rail.

3.2 Feed M8 T Bolts through the

opening found on the vehicle sill rail,

so that the T section is on the inside

of the rail and thread is exposed on

the outside of the rail.

The opening is located

approximately in line with the

front door centre line.

Use supplied plastic retainer

together with the T Bolt to keep

bolt in place.

REPEAT above Steps 3.1 and 3.2 on Driver's side

3.3 Disassemble the mounting bracket assembly by undoing the M8 nuts as shown below.

This will separate the Top Mounting Bracket from the Swivel/Idler Brackets.
