Brightness adjustment:
The brightness of the brake light is adjusted using the Wonderwheel
on the left motorcycle grip. The rider enters programming mode using the fol-
lowing sequence:
1.
Press and hold the right brake lever.
2.
Press the turn signal cancel (TSC) button a single time (no hold).
3.
Tilt the Wonderwheel to the right and hold until the brake lights flash two
times (the front running lights will also flash, if installed).
4.
Rotate the Wonderwheel to adjust the brake brightness while holding the
front (or back) brake lever.
5.
Rotate the Wonderwheel to adjust the running light level while the front
and back levers are released. You can go back and forth between brakes
on and off as needed during the adjustment process.
6.
When complete, press the TSC a single time and the light will flash once
to indicate that programming mode is complete. If no adjustments are
made within about 10 seconds, programming mode will automatically
terminate.
There are 11 programmable levels for the brake level and running
level for the brake light: 3%, 10%, 20%, ..., 100%. Note, however, that the
running light level is not allowed to exceed the brake light level and vice-ver-
sa. For example, if the brake light is set to 40%, only values between 3% and
30% are allowed for the running light. If the running light is set to 20%, only
values of 30% and higher are allowed for the brake light.
