Positioning
Repositioning users with or at risk of pressure injuries and determine the individual's frequency of repositioning is strongly
recommended by international experts. Inability to make postural adjustments independently can lead to many negative health
implications, e.g. pressure injuries and body shape deformity. LeanOnMe can be used to support the body and extremities, and thus
achieve a relieving and calming body position.
Below is only suggestions on how to use LeanOnMe, it should always be the user's special needs that define the choice of cushion/
cushions and/or combinations and finally positioning.
Use
Immedia LeanOnMe Roll
The roll can be bent, shaped and adjusted exactly to user
needs. It can also be shaken so that it becomes fuller in some
areas and thinner on others. In lateral side position it can be
shaped to support the head, back and legs. Is very suitable for
neorological users, people with decreased body awareness or
anxiety. (Illustration 1,2,3,4,5)
For users with brain injury or hemiplegia as it provides a good
tactile stimulation.
Immedia LeanOnMe Channel
The channel-sewn cushion is a flexible pillow that protects,
supports and relieves. The cushion can be rolled depending
on the application. The cushion can be shaped and placed
under the leg(s), between the legs, under the calves to relieve
the heels, or under an arm to relieve shoulder blades and/or
elbows. Support an arm or in lateral position, the cushion can
be placed in the back or between the legs to protect exposed
areas. In the sitting position, the pillow is placed in the back as
a support by e.g. dining. (Illustration 6,7,8,9)
Immedia LeanOnMe Wing
The backrest cushion with wing is used lateral position. The user
lies on the wing so that the user's own weight holds the cushion
in place. Then the back is supported precisely and stable. The
cushion can also be used supine to support the arms or
to protect exposed body parts from pressure from bed rails.

Immedia LeanOnMe Mini
A functional small support cushion, which is placed where
smaller gaps occur between body and mattress when a
person is positioned. Typically, at the ankle and knee. Applying
the cushion has a relaxing effect on the body part, which
propagates to the rest of the body. The small cushion is the
professional replacement for the duvet clip - but it does not
collapse or flatten out. (Illustration 10,11,12)
Immedia LeanOnMe Basic
Traditional positioning cushions in 6 sizes can be used, in lateral
and supine positioning for supporting the back, arms and legs,
under the knees and ankles, or in supine position to facilitate
breathing. The positioning cushions can also be used to protect
exposed body parts from pressure from bed rails.

support when a normal pillow is not considered appropriate.
