FOCUS ENHANCER

The Focus Enhancer works to diffuse and double the cooling effect of

your Close Comfort unit, and is designed to stay in place even when

the cold air cover is closed.

There are two simple parts to the Focus Enhancer:

The CLEAR FLAP that works to

elevate the direction of the air ﬂow

The FLAT BLUE NOZZLE that

concentrates the cool air throw

INSTALLATION

To attach the focus enhancer, ﬁrst remove the

grill that comes with the unit. Ensuring that the

ﬁlter sponge is still in place, attach the Enhancer

in the place of the existing grille.It should snap

into place. If it doesn't, ensure it is the correct

way around. The nozzle should be facing inward

as shown in the diagrams.

For a higher angle of air ﬂow:

Attach the Clear ﬂap to the end of the cool

air cover. Make sure the straight edge is

facing you and the notches are ﬁtted to the

air cover. To remove, simply pull the ﬂap off.

THE COOL AIR FLOW'S SPEED CAN BE ADJUSTED BY RAISING OR LOWERING THE

FOCUS ENHANCER'S NOZZLE:

For high air speed and increased distance of

cooling, lower the nozzle as shown above.

The Cold Air Cover can be closed with the Focus

Enhancer attached in this position.

TIPS

Adjust the angle of the Cold Air Cover to ensure that cool air ﬂows past face and neck

Turn off fans when using Close Comfort as drafts from nearby windows and fans may

disrupt the Focus Enhancer's air jet.

The Focus Enhancer is not suitable for use with the bed tent unless in raised position

In humid weather, it is normal for moisture to condense on parts of the Focus Enhancer.

FILTER MAINTENANCE

We recommend to inspect at least the return air inlet ﬁlter once every two weeks.

Once there is a notiicable amount of dust, clean all three ﬁlters by rinsing them under

running water. In dusty locations, consider arranging for an air conditioning

technician to clean the inside before the summer season.

FRONT FILTER

For lower air speed, raise the nozzle as shown

above.

Use this position with the Igloo bed tent, or

when gentle air ﬂow is preferred. Ensure the

nozzle is lowered back down before attempting

to close the Cold Air Cover
