IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed to

reduce risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to self and others, including the following:

1. Read all instructions thoroughly.

2. DO NOT touch any hot surfaces. Use knobs, handles, or other safety features to grasp hot

objects.

9. DO NOT allow the cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter or allow it to touch any

11. DO NOT use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.

12. Make sure that your outlet's voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of

the appliance.

13. DO NOT use the appliance with a damaged outlet. Doing so increases the risk of fire, electric

shock, or injury.

14. Any examination, repair, or adjustment of the appliance should be conducted by an

authorized service agent ONLY.

15. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, one of its service

agents, or anyone with similar qualifications to prevent hazards.

16. This appliance is not intended for commercial use.

17. Provide proper ventilation when using the appliance leaving a minimum space of 6" free

around the unit.

18. Remember to keep this appliance out of direct sunlight and away any other direct sources of

heat.

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for

their safety.

20. This is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
