TO SHUT DOWN THE HEATER FOR
SHORT PERIOD:
Adjust the room temperature controller to its lowest
setting or "OFF". The fan will continue to run for a
short period to cool the heat exchanger. The pilot will
remain alight.
WARNING: The electrical isolator
should only be used in an emergency and
should not be used for closing down the
main burner, as it switches off the fan pre-
maturely and may damage the heat ex-
changer, invalidating the warranty.

TO SHUT DOWN THE HEATER FOR
EXTENDED PERIOD:
1) Adjust the room temperature controller to its lowest setting
or "OFF".
2)
Valve in Figure 2A - Rotate the knob on the multifunctional valve
(approximately 1/12 of a full rotation).

Valve in Figure 2B - Push in and release the red stop button
(marked O) on the valve.
3) After the fan has stopped, turn "OFF" the gas supply and
the electrical supply.
NORMAL OPERATING SEQUENCE (pilot
lighted):
1) Room thermostat senses need for heat.
2) Main gas valve in the multifunctional control valve is
energised.
3) Main burners are ignited by permanent pilot light.
4) In approximately 45 seconds, the fan control switch senses
heat exchanger temperature and turns on the fan.
5) Room temperature control senses sufficient heat.
6) Main gas valve is de-energised, and main burners are extin-
guished.
7) After approximately 120 seconds, the fan control switch
turns off the fan.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE:

To ensure safe and efficient operation, this heater should be
serviced at least annually. It is strongly recommended that the
installing heating engineer or AMBI-RAD Service Division be
contacted to provide the necessary service. Retain on file a
copy of the service instructions for this heater.
