D e v i c e d e s c r i p t i o n
The ASKOHEAT+ can be switched in 7 stages using different control signals.
The device can be switched on or off manually at any me using the "Emergency bu on" (hold down
for at least 2 seconds) (pos.2) . This "emergency" mode deac vates automa cally a er 24 hours.
Analogue switching is possible via a 0‐10V input or via the poten al‐free contact "Heatpump Request".
The Modbus protocol (TCP via LAN or RTU via RS485 (Z3) and an API with JSON data are available digi‐
tally. A detailed descrip on is available and can be downloaded via our homepage.
Te m p e r a t u r e c o n t r o l
The maximum temperature can be con nuously adjusted with the rotary knob (pos. 1). The range ex‐
tends from „Out" to approx. 85°C. For economic reasons, it should be set to approx. 65°C.
When the temperature is reached, the device switches off and on again automa cally if necessary.
S a f e t y t e m p e r a t u r l i m i t e r
If the safety temperature limiter has tripped, you can reset it with a "00 screwdriver" through the
opening marked "Reset". This cannot be done un l the temperature has cooled down by approx. 10K.
E m e r g e n c y o p e r a t i o n „ E m e r g e n c y O n "
The maximum hea ng output can be switched on immediately with the „Emergency On" bu on. To do
this, press the bu on for at least 2 seconds. This may be necessary in the event of a fault or if addi o‐
nal heat is required. To switch off, press the bu on again for at least 2 seconds. For safety reasons, the
ASKOHEAT+ automa cally switches back to normal opera on a er 24 hours.
H e a t p u m p r e q u e s t
A switch‐on signal of the heat pump can be connected to this poten al‐free contact 1 and 2 of plug Z3.
With the "Heatpump request", the maximum hea ng power can be switched on immediately . From
device firmware 4.3.3 or devices built a er 2022 , this contact can also be used for con nuous opera ‐
on. If contact 1 and 2 of plug Z3 are bridged, the device heats the water to the preset temperature of
max. 55°C.
