POWER CONNECTION
Connect the power co rd to AC outlet onl y.
SPEAKER JACKS
Connect the SPEAKER PLUGS to the SPEAKER
JACKS located on the rear of the unit.
This unit should not be connected to speakers
with an impedance of less than 4 ohms,
otherwise damage may result to the unit.
POWER - Press to turn unit ON or OFF.
VOLUME - Adjusts loudn ess of speakers or
headphones
1) Turn the unit "ON" using the POWER button.
2) Select the TUNER function.
3) Set the DUAL POINTER selector as desi r ed.
4) Tune in the desired station using the Tuning
Knob. Select FM STEREO Mode, the FM ST led.
will light up whenever a stereo broadcast is
received. To listen in Mono or to improve
noisy, weak-signal stereo broadcasts, set
the FM Mode selector switch to the MONO
position. The STEREO indicator will go off
and FM Mono is now received.
5) Adjust the VOLUME, EXTRA BASS selector
to the desired sound level.
CONNECTIONS
HEADPHONE JACK (PHONES)
This unit will accept stereo headphones (not
included) with a 3.5mm plug and an impedance
of 16 ohms or g reater.
The speakers are automatica lly disconnected
when headphones are connected to the PHONES
jack.
GENERAL
FUNCTION - Use to select desired source (TAPE,
CD or RADIO) to be listened to. The selected
source is also available for recording. Please
consult RECORDING section of this manual for
more details.
TUNER
HINTS FOR BEST RECEPTION :
During recording, a beating whistle on some
received stations may happen, by sliding the "FM
MODE" switch it may help.
FM : The receiver has a built-in FM wire antenna
hanging from the rear cabinet. This wire should
be totally unraveled and extended for best
reception.
