VII. Maintenance

 The instrument should be cleaned regularly and also the spindle pointer should be oiled regularly.

But there must be no oil between the pointer and the baffle or it will affect the force value.

 The instrument should be placed in a no vibration and clean room. Please preserve the big and

small hammers and the long and short screws when the instrument is not used. Also put a cover on

the instrument to avoid falling into the dust.

 The hammer can not be crashed or it will affect the weight and the centroid position.
