Getting Started

Make sure the lamp or appliance is working, by plugging it into the
wall outlet and turning it on.

While it is on, remove the plug from the wall outlet.

Plug the timer into the wall outlet for at least 10 minutes to charge
the internal battery. The charged battery saves the current time and
programmed settings, in the event of a power outage.

Once the battery is fully charged, follow the instructions below to
program the timer.
Note: During any of the programming steps, do not delay more than
10 seconds between pressing a button, or else the timer will return
to the standby mode and display the current set time.

After you have completed setting the timer, plug the timer into the wall,
and plug the lamp or appliance into the timer. Make sure the lamp or
appliance is set to ON.
Setting the Current Time
The timer can run in either 24 hour/military time or 12 hour/standard
AM/PM time. The timer is preset to run in 24 hour time.

To change the timer to 12 hour time, press and hold the TIME
button for 6 seconds. The hour digit on the time display will change
to 12, and AM will appear in the bottom right corner of the time
display.

To change the timer back to 24 hour time, press and hold the
TIME button for 6 seconds. The hour digit will change to 0 and AM
will disappear from the display. You can press the TIME button
again to change back to 12 hour time.

Once you have selected the desired 12 hour/24 hour setting, press
and hold the SET button for 6 seconds, and the day (i.e. Monday,
Tuesday) will flash.

Press the

button to set the current day of the week.
Keep on pressing the

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed day, and the hour
will flash.

button to set the current hour (i.e. 1:00, 2:00).

Note: If the timer is set to the standard/12 hour time format,
make sure the proper AM or PM icon is shown when scrolling
through the hours on the display.

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed hour, and the minute
will flash.

button to set the current minute (i.e. 1:10, 1:11).
Keep pressing the

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed minute.
Daylight Savings Time
You can quickly adjust the time for Daylight Savings, without having
to reprogram the time.

To add one hour to the current displayed time, press the TIME
and
buttons at the same time. The current displayed time
will increase by one hour, and the '+1h' icon will appear above
the seconds display.

To decrease one hour from the current displayed time, press the
TIME and
buttons at the same time. The current displayed
time will decrease by one hour, and the '+1h' icon will disappear
from the display.
Programming the On/Off Times
You can program up to 20 groups of on/off times throughout the week.

To program the first ON setting, press the

Press the SET button to confirm that you want to set the first ON
setting. If you have already set the first ON setting and want to
move to the next setting, press the

button to select the day or days when you would like
the lamp or appliance to turn ON. You can select either every day
of the week (i.e. Monday-Sunday), a particular single day (i.e.
Tuesday), or a group of days (i.e. Saturday, Sunday). Keeping on

button until the desired day/days setting
appears on the display.

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed day, and the hour
segment of the time display will flash.

Press the

button to set the hour when you want the
timer to turn ON. Keep on pressing the
correct hour appears on the display.

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed hours, and the
minute segment of the time display will flash.

button to set the minute when you want the
timer to turn ON. Keep on pressing the
correct minutes appears on the display.

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed minute.

To program the first OFF setting, press the
will appear on the bottom left corner of the display.

Follow steps 2-8 to program the first OFF setting, the day/days
and time when you would like the lamp or appliance to turn OFF.

Continue to follow steps 2-9 to program up to 19 additional ON
and OFF settings. You do not have to program all 20 ON and
OFF settings. If you wish to delete any of the programmed settings,
simply press the OVER button when that particular day/time ON
or OFF setting is displayed. The programmed ON or OFF time
will be deleted, and the display will show --:--.

To confirm the settings and return to the standby mode, press and
release the TIME button. The current day and time will appear on
the screen, as well as the AUTO icon. In addition, the timer will
return to the standby mode when a button has not been pressed
for 10 seconds.

Plug the timer into the wall, and plug the lamp or appliance into
the timer. Make sure the lamp or appliance is set to ON.

Programming the Countdown Timer
You can program the timer to stay ON for a set period of time (up
to 24 hours) and then automatically turn OFF. This is useful when
you are currently using a lamp or appliance and want to make sure
it turns OFF, in order to conserve energy.

To program the countdown setting, press the
and the CTD icons will appear, and 'ON' will flash on the display.

Press the SET button to confirm that you want to set countdown
time, and the hour segment of the time display will flash.

Press the

button to set the number of hours after which
you want the lamp or appliance to turn OFF.

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed hour, and the minute
segment of the time display will flash.

Press the

button to set the number of minutes after
which you want the timer to turn OFF.

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed minute, and the
seconds segment of the time display will flash.

Press the

button to set the number of seconds after
which you want the timer to turn OFF.

Press the SET button to confirm the displayed hour/minute/second
setting, and ON will flash on the display.

Press the CTD button, and the set time will count backwards. The
plugged in lamp or appliance will remain on until the displayed
time reaches 00:00:00, and then it will automatically turn OFF.

To manually stop the countdown and turn the lamp or appliance
OFF, press the CTD and then the TIME button.

To temporarily display the current time, press and release the TIME
button. The current time will display for two seconds, and then the
display will return to the countdown.
Random Setting
You can set the timer to turn ON/OFF at a random period of 2-30
minutes after each programmed time. This feature is particularly useful
when you are away on vacation, as it shows a more natural and random
sequence of your lights or appliances turning on and off, thus confusing
potential intruders.

After you have already programmed the ON and OFF settings and
the display shows the current time, press and release the RND
button to select the RANDOM function.

The RND icon will appear, and each of the set ON and OFF times
will randomly be increased by 2 to 30 minutes. For example, if you
set the first ON time at 4:30 and then selected the RANDOM function,
the lamp or appliance will turn ON anywhere between 4:32 and 5:00.

To end the RANDOM setting and return back to the originally
programmed settings, press the RND button. The RND icon will
disappear from the display.
Manual Override Function
You can override the programmed setting temporarily (i.e. turn the
lamp/appliance ON when the timer is set to OFF or turn the
lamp/appliance OFF when the timer is set to ON.)

When the lamp or appliance is ON at the programmed time, the
display will show AUTO and ON, to indicate that the timer is
programmed at its current ON/OFF settings.

To turn OFF the lamp or appliance, press the OVER button again.
AUTO and ON will disappear, and OFF will now show on the
display.

To temporarily turn OFF the programmed settings, press the OVER
button again. AUTO and OFF will now show on the display, to
show that the lamp or appliance is OFF, and the timer is not set to
turn on at any time.

To turn ON the lamp or appliance, press the OVER button again.
The lamp or appliance will turn ON.

Continue to follow steps 1-4 to manually turn the lamp or appliance
ON or OFF and to keep the programmed settings ON or OFF. In
addition, if the lamp or appliance is turned OFF, you can manually
turn it ON by starting at step 4.
Note: In order for the timer settings to be active and for the timer
to automatically turn ON or OFF at the programmed times, press
the OVER button until AUTO and ON display on the screen.
Reset Function
You can clear the timer memory of the current time and all programmed
settings by pressing the RESET button. As this is a small button, you
may need to use the tip of a paper clip or pen to press the button.
Power LED Indicator

When there is electrical power available through the timer outlet,
the red LED will light. The plugged in light or appliance will be ON.

When there is no electrical power available through the timer outlet,
the red LED will not light, and the plugged in light or appliance will
be OFF.

In case of power failure, reset timer.
Wattage of lamp/appliance must not exceed capacity of timer.
Do not use timer with heaters or similar appliances.
Always ensure plug of lamp/appliance is fully inserted into timer outlet.
To clean timer, remove from wall outlet and wipe with a dry cloth.
Do not immerse timer in water or any other liquid.
