Troubleshooting

Reported Fault

Pump starts but does

not draw water.

Possible Causes

air leak or blockage in

pump inlet pipework.

blockage in pump outlet

pipework.

flow direction reversed.

faulty Pump.

Checks/Actions

Attach temporary flexible hose to inlet

side of pump. Spray shower into a

bucket, insert hose to bucket and check

pump discharge.

If oK, check installed pipework to

pump.

Attach temporary flexible hoses to

inlet and outlet sides of pump. Spray

shower into a bucket. Insert inlet hose

to bucket and check for discharge

with outlet hose inserted to a second

bucket.

If oK, check installed pipework from

pump.

Swap polarity of electrical connection

to pump.

Replace unit.
