l To operate the built in function of „WASH" simply set timer for
10 minutes and temperature for 70°C.
CaUTIOn: Please let oven cool down for 10 minutes before
washing it.
l When cooking has finished, the oven will beep and flash its lights.
Food can be removed at any time. However, be careful as the oven
and surfaces around it may be extremely hot. Always use the tongs
provided.
l When cooking has finished, the heating element will automatically
switch off. This is to prolong the lifespan of the circuit board and other
electronic components.
l If you want to check time left or set cooking temperature during coo-
king, simply press „Cook Time" or „Temp" button. If you press „Time"
several times, the oven switches between „Cook Time" and „Order
Time" (if any order time was preset). If you press the „Temp" button
several times, it shows the temperature and order temperature.
l Follow the following instructions to „Order" cooking time.
l Pause/Clear":- Press this key to make the oven pause. Hold it down
for 3 seconds to clear/cancel your cooking settings.
Order Time Delay
l The „APPOINT" function allows you to delay the start of the cooking time.
l First choose the delay temperature by pressing „TEMP" to desired cooking temperature.
l Secondly, set the cooking time by pressing „UP" or „DOWN" (1 minute to 3 hours).
l Press the „APPOINT" button once and the light will flash. Input the expected time for oven to start. (10 minutes to
19 hours and 50 minutes).
l Once all the information has been entered, press the „CONFIRM' button.
l The time (Delay Time) will be displayed and the indicalor light of „TIME" will be on while the delay time begins to
count down. The oven will turn on when it counts down to cooking time.
Care must be taken when using this feature so you do not create a health hazard by placing food that will
spoil during the delay time (e .g. fresh chicken and other meats should neVer be left at room temperature
for more than a few minutes). Do not risk food poisoning by letting bacteria breed in the oven while it is in
the delay period.
6. PrePArinG your conVection oVen
Convection oven should be heated before cooking in it.
While preparing the oven according to the following instructions, it may give off a slight burning odour. The oven is actu-
ally burning off excess lubricants found in the oven's heating elements and will not harm you, your food or the oven.
l Wipe the inside of the bowl with a clean damp sponge.
l Place racks in the bowl - do not leave tongs in the hot bowl.
l Close the lid on the bowl.
l Set timer to approximately 10 minutes.
l Set thermostat to 200°C and turn on oven.
l After timer has switched off oven, allow it to cool for 10 minutes before opening the lid.

7. CleanIng

light cleaning
l Unplug the power cable of oven and let it cool down.
l Use a clean sponge or dish cloth with a little mild dishwashing detergent and warm water to wipe the bowl.
l Rinse well to remove all detergent. Wipe dry.
note: never immerse the lid in any liquid.
normal cleaning
l Unplug the power cable of the oven and let it cool.
l Wipe lid and fan housing using a damp clean dish cloth or sponge with a little mild dishwashing detergent.
l Do not clean with steel wool pads or abrasive materials.
l Wash wire racks in mild dishwashing detergent and water.

l Clean metal parts using a sponge or dishcloth with mild dishwashing detergent, then wipe them with a dry cloth till
clean. If scrubbing is necessary, use a nylon or polyester mesh pad or a pod brush. If the metal parts are burnt use
stainless steel or other metal scourers. A thick cleaning paste is recommended with a damp sponge for stubborn
stains.
Dishwasher safe bowl
The bowl and wire racks may also be washed in the dishwasher. However, never wash the lid in a dishwasher or
immerse it in liquid. Remove the bowl from its stand before dishwashing.
nOTe: Dishwashing will eventually damage the chrome on the wire racks and dull the finish .
l Unplug oven before cleaning the lid.
l Remove fat or oils before washing.
l Let oven cool down a little before washing.
l Never immerse lid in water.
l Use hot water and detergent for 15 minutes to pre-wash.
l Do not add water above halfway up the bowl when self-washing.
l Do not let fan assembly get wet.
l Never leave the lid on the cooker after it switches off, whether with food in it or with water in it. If you do, you will
eventually cause rusting of metat parts in the lid. This is not covered by warranty as you are expected to take
good care of your cooker by keeping it clean and dry after cooking and/or washing.

8. cookinG tiPS

Firstly, this appliance is an oven. Whatever can be cooked in an ordinary oven can also be prepared in this oven. It
can be used for baking, roasting, grilling, dry frying, re-heating foods etc. However, it is faster, cheaper and fat free.
Whenever possible place food directly on wire rack. Cooking on a wire rack allows hot air to circulate freely around
the food, cooking it quickly and evenly. There is usually no need to turn the food. Select the highest rack that accom-
modates food without touching the top.
Cooking a complete meal at once is possible by two racks. Keep in mind that different foods and different weights of
foods take different amounts of time to cook. Plan ahead. Put the food that takes the longest amount of time to cook
on the bottom rack. Later on during cooking, put the other food on the lower and top rack. Your complete meal of
meat, potatoes and vegetables can be cooked together and will be ready at the same time. Please note that food on
the high rack will slow down cooking on the lower rack.
Optimum Cooking
When placing several pieces of food on the wire rack, be sure to leave at least 15mm belween the food and the side
of lhe bowl. This space allows air to flow freely
through the oven. Also avoid stacking food on food in order to cook more at the same time. The hot air must circulate
freely in order to cook the food properly. If you do not leave space you can rearrange food pieces as you cook.
Keeping Food Crisp
After food is cooked, turn the thermostat down while keeping the fan running. Your food will stay hot and crisp. Con-
vention ovens do this automatically.
Making Cleaning easy
Spray the oven, racks and pans with a non-stick oil spray before cooking. This makes wiping away grease and
residue after cooking easy. You can also place foil or a little hot water under the bottom rack to catch drippings etc.
This is optional.
adapting recipes
As a rule of thumb, when using recipes intended for conventional ovens, temperatures will remain the same but
cooking times will be less. For cakes and pastries reduce the recommended conventional oven temperature by 10°C.
The cooking times in this booklet should be used as a guide. You need to judge whether your food weighs less or
more than that which is used in the guide and slightly adjust your cooking time. When working with the convection
oven for the first time, we suggest using a meat thermometer. Observe the cooking progress through the glass top.
After a short time you will easily be able to adapt your favourite recipes for convection ovens. Remember, meats are
best roasted slowly so that they remain tender, succulent and moist. Start at a higher temperature and seal / brown
meats first, and then reduce the temperature to complete the cooking.
