1 Using this guide

This guide is for first-time users of the VTAP50 OEM module.

Figure 1-1 VTAP50 reader board

It contains the information you need about your VTAP50 hardware.

Consult the VTAP100 Basic Configuration Guide for more about configuration and

maintenance features, including how to update the firmware on your VTAP50 unit, when a

new release is available. The firmware on a VTAP50 functions in exactly the same way as that

used on a VTAP100, so you can refer to VTAP100 configuration guides.
