Power supply
The PRO-ARU...G is provided with a power supply unit which supplies DC voltage for
the amplifier circuitry.
The power supply unit both has an AC mains voltage input for 230 – 240 VAC
and a DC voltage input for 12 VDC or 24 VDC, depending on model.
The power supply is of the galvanically separated type, in order to avoid unwanted
ground loops etc.
4.3
Power supply backup function
The power supply unit is provided with backup function.
If DC voltage (12 VDC or 24 VDC depending on model) from e.g. a rechargeable
battery is connected to the multicoupler together with AC mains voltage, the DC voltage
source will function as power backup.
If mains voltage is applied to the multicoupler, it will operate on the mains voltage and
the DC voltage will be internally switched off.
If the mains voltage fails, the multicoupler will automatically switch over to operate on
the DC voltage thus providing an uninterrupted service.
The multicoupler can also operate directly on the DC voltage, if no mains voltage is
connected.
5 Installation
The PRO-ARU...G are housed in a standard 19 " rack module.

Front view
The front plate is identical on both receiver multicoupler models.
The height of both PRO-ARU4G and PRO-ARU8G are 1HU (44.45 mm).
The front plate is provided with 2 pcs. 7 x 10 mm oval mounting holes in each side,
intended for rack mounting of the multicoupler, using M6 screws.
Further, a green power on LED is provided.
Below is shown the identical front view of both models.
