Maintenance
Generally to be carried out every 12 months.
Service
Each unit should be inspected for mechanical & electrical defects. Installation
of the fan motors and associated wiring should be tested.
Cleaning
Dirt and dust should be brushed free from the motor, grille and impellers , to
ensure proper operation of the unit. Grilles and impellers may be cleaned with
soapy water and a soft cloth.
Lubrication
All motors have sealed for life bearings and do not require attention.
Wiring Details
The motors supplied on the King units are capable of being wired for single
and three phase with small modifications.
Normally, however they will be supplied to specification as either single or
three phase. Motors are also suitable for clockwise and anticlockwise rotation.
However, the units are supplied with impellers for specified rotational direction
and it is important the wiring is matched to the impeller rotation (see Fig.5)

Terminals are pillar type with 7mm nuts. It is therefore recommended that the
wiring connections are made using 2 or 4BA crimp spade or eyelet terminals.
