Battery Operation
Caring for the built-in battery
It is very important that you fully charge the battery in your
system before first use, and as soon as possible after each and
every use—even if operated only briefly.
IMPORTANT: Do not store system with a partially or fully
discharged battery, as this will reduce battery service life.
When the "Battery" LED begins flashing:
BATTERY
Flashing = low battery.
When the Battery LED begins flashing, this indicates the battery
is low and the unit will automatically shut off in 15 -30 minutes.
Charging the battery
Plug the power cord into an AC outlet (the Charger LED will

light, indicating the battery is being charged).

When the battery is charged (about 10 hours), the Charger
LED will flash. This indicates the charger has switched to the
maintenance charge rate—the charger may be left plugged in

Quick Use Guide
The Explorer is a high-fidelity portable sound system that's
simple to set up and use. You'll need a microphone or some
other input source before before you get started.
If you have a battery powered model, make sure the battery
is fully charged before use (see page 10).
Here's how easy it is to use
1. Set the unit in front of your audience on the floor,
table or on a speaker stand.
