Facts about bed bugs
Bed bugs can survive more than six months
dormant between meals.
Development time to an adult is 35 to 48 days.
Female bed bugs lay one to five eggs after each
blood meal and can lay a total of 200 eggs.
The average cost to get rid of bed bugs in New
York is $1,310.
Using this unit can stop an infestation
of bed bugs from entering your home.
Heat is 100% effective
It only takes one bug to lead
to an infestation of your
home. Neither chemicals nor
inspection are reliable.
Studies have shown that temperatures
above 120°F kill bed bugs and their eggs
within minutes.
We use a patent‐pending heating system
to uniformly distribute temperatures
between 140°F and 150°F. Temperature
of the contents in the box gradually
reach these temperatures and kill all
stages of bed bugs and eggs.
Recommended use and tips:
Place items into a plastic bag or other
encasement before coming into the home.
Keep an extra bag in your glove box to
protect your vehicle.
Have the product set up before you leave
on your trip so it is ready when you walk in
the door. (Leave unit unplugged)
Heat-cycle time
We recommend an
eighthour cycle to
ensure complete
heat treatment of a
full suitcase.
The time required to completely heat
treat depends on the item.
For most items, longer heat treatment
has no negative effects.
The system begins heating up as soon as
the unit is plugged in. User should verify
that the thermal strip begins to change
within two minutes of operation.
(optional) Locate a remote thermometer
in the center of the contents. The heat
cycle is complete 30 minutes after
reaching 120°F.
