4. Install 2 size D batteries (NOT included) in the battery box on the bottom of the appliance. Make
sure the batteries are facing the correct direction.
Water Supply Installation
1. Before attaching the water line to the water heater, run the water until it has purged all
contaminants (sand, debris, air, caulking, etc).
2. Water inlet :
If using a standard garden hose, attach the 3/4" GHT garden hose adapter to the fitting marked
●
"Water Inlet". Check to make sure the filter inside the water inlet is in place and clean. Then
attach your water inlet/garden hose.

NOTICE: MAKE SURE TO PUT THE RUBBER GASKET IN ALL FITTINGS BEFORE
CONNECTION.
If using a quick connector :

A. Screw the tap connector onto the gas water heater water inlet.
B. Insert the hose into the end of the connector.
C. Slide the nut onto the end of the hose and tighten.
D. Push the hose end connector into the tap connector.
E. To disconnect, hold the soft touch pads and pull the connector
downwards.
