Intended use

•

The article is intended to be used to peel and chop up fruit,

vegetables, cheese and chocolate. It is not suitable for

frozen food.

•

The article is not suitable for use in the microwave, the oven

or the freezer.

•

The article is for personal use only and is not intended for

commercial applications.

•

The article should only be used as described in these instruc-

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

•

The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects

caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised at-

tempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Safety and care instructions

This article is not intended for use by individuals (including

children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities

or those without sufﬁ cient experience and / or knowledge,

unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their

safety or have received instructions from them on how the

article is to be used.

Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do

Danger of injury! The blades are sharp! Be careful when

handling the article! Never grate small items of food or the

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean

the article. These could damage the article.

When it is opened out the article should always be used on a

dry, even, and stable surface.

Make sure prior to each use that the article is correctly

assembled, is not damaged and is in good working order. Do

not use the article if it is damaged.

Use only the accessories supplied, or accessories expressly

recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not drop the article or subject it to any impact.

Do not expose the article to extreme temperatures, strong

temperature ﬂ uctuations, direct sunlight or persistent moisture.

Maintain a sufﬁ cient distance from sources of heat, such as

hobs or ovens.

Before initial use

1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for complete-

ness and any transport damage. If you ﬁ nd any damage to

the components, do not use them (!), but contact our cus-

tomer service department.

2. There may still be some production residue on the article. To

avoid harmful effects to your health, clean the article thor-

oughly before you ﬁ rst use it.

Changing the cutting insert

1. Close the housing (1). You should feel and hear it click into

place.

2. Removal: compress the two snap-in noses on the cutting in-

sert and lift it upwards.

3. Insertion: place a cutting insert into the insert slot (2) in the

housing (1) and press it downwards. Make sure that the arrow

markings on the cutting insert and the insert slot (2) are fac-

ing towards each other. You should feel and hear the cutting

insert click into place.

Use

Peeler and julienne cutter

For this function the housing (1) has to be closed.

1. Wash the foodstuffs you wish to process.

2. Fit the relevancutting insert into place

3. Place the article with the cutting insert on top of the food and

carefully pull it downwards.

Slicing insert

For this function the housing (1) has to be opened out.

1. Remove any stalks, peels or cores etc. from the food which

is to be cut up. More solid fruit or vegetables should be cut in

half or into quarters before you process them further.

2. Fit the relevant slicing insert (5) into place.

3. Place the prepared food onto the pins in the ﬁ nger guard (4).

4. Move the ﬁ nger guard (5) back and forth on the housing (1)

with slight pressure to slice the food. As you do this, press

down the grip bit by bit so that the food is pushed out further.

Cleaning and storage

•

Clean all parts with warm water and a mild detergent or in the

dishwasher.

•

Allow all parts to dry completely before you put them away.

•

For space-saving storage of the cutting inserts you can place

them in the storage ﬁ ttings provided (3, 8).

•

Store the article and all accessories in a dry place which is

protected from sunlight and is not accessible to children and

animals.

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the pack-

aging in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to

a recycling centre. Dispose of the article in an environ-

mentally friendly manner as well. More information is

available from your local authorities.
