Intended Use

❐ This article is a decoration. It is not a toy!

❐ For indoor use only.

❐ The article is designed for domestic use and is not intended

for commercial use. Only use the item as instructed. Any

other use is deemed improper.

❐ Defects caused by improper handling, damage or attempts

at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to

normal wear and tear.

Safety Instructions

❐ ATTENTION: Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging away

from the children and pets.

❐ ATTENTION: Swallowing batteries poses a risk of death!

Therefore keep batteries and the article out of the reach of

children and pets. Should a battery be swallowed seek medi-

cal help immediately.

❐ Before inserting the batteries check that the contacts in the

article and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean

them.

❐ Use only the batteries speciﬁ ed in the technical data.

❐ Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix

different types or brands of battery or batteries of varying

capacities. When changing the batteries, ensure that the po-

larity (+ / –) is correct.

❐ Remove the batteries from the article if they are used up or if

you are not using the article. This will prevent damage which

can be caused by leakage.

❐ If a battery has leaked, avoid contact of the battery acid with

skin, eyes and mucus membranes. In case of contact with

battery acid, rinse the affected area immediately with plenty

of clear water and seek a doctor at once. Take any leaking

batteries out of the article immediately. Clean the contacts

before inserting new batteries.

❐ The batteries should not be recharged or reactivated by any

other means, taken apart, thrown on a ﬁ re, immersed in liq-

uid or short-circuited.

❐ Do not subject the article to extreme temperatures, severe

changes in temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.

❐ Keep a sufﬁ cient distance from heat sources, e. g. hobs, ov-

ens, ﬁ re places or burning candles.

❐ Do not allow the article to fall and do not subject it to strong

percussions.

❐ Only use the article in enclosed areas.

❐ Ensure that the article does not fall in water or is at risk of

getting wet. When cleaning, dust off the article with a soft,

dry cloth. Heavily laden dirt can be wiped off with a damp

cloth.

❐ Store the article in an area that is out of the reach of children

and pets and that is not exposed to direct sunlight.

❐ In the event the article is defective, do not attempt to repair it

yourself. In the event of damage, contact the customer ser-

vice.

Putting into Operation

You will need 3 x 1,5 Volt-Batteries (type AA).

Batteries are not included in the article contents.

1. Unpack all parts. Check that the article contents do not ex-

hibit any transport damages. Should you identify any trans-

port damages, do not use the article (!), instead please

promptly consult the customer service.

2. Open the battery compartment on the backside of the article:

If necessary, remove the screw, press the catches toward

the battery compartment cover and remove the cover.

3. Insert 3 x 1.5 V batteries of the AA type. Pay attention to the

correct polarity (+/–).

4. Fit the battery compartment cover again, press it down until

it engages audibly and screw it tight.

5. Mount the article with the help of the opening on the back

side. Use suitable mounting materials to hang up the article.

Mounting material is not incluced in the article contents. If

necessary, ask a specialist dealer for appropriate mounting

material.

6. Push the switch on the backside of the article to the ON po-

sition to switch it on. Push the switch to the OFF position to

switch it off.

If the performance of the article diminishes, the batteries should

be replaced.

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmental-
