Thank you for the purchasing this mobile ANSMANN Radio Baby Monitor.
The system is designed for simple, uncomplicated operation. ANSMANN
Babyphones are known for high quality and environmentally friendly
materials. The transmitter is equipped with an automatic voice control.
This means that the transmitter is only activated, if noises are heard
(e.g. the crying of your child). Unnecessary transmitted radio waves are
avoided by this function. For safety reasons the battery compartment of
the transmitter is closed with screw.

> Please read these operating instructions carefully before use
> Inside use only if powered by AC adapter. Keep the device away from
damp or wet (dry location use only)
> In order to avoid the risk of fire and/or electric shock, the device
must be protected against high humidity and water
> Do not plug in the device if there are any signs of damage of the
housing, cables or connectors. In the case of a defect, please return
to an authorized service centre.
> Never place the transmitter inside of babies bed etc.
> Never place transmitter and power cord of adapter in the reach of the baby
> Pay attention to min. distance of 1 meter between baby and
transmitter
> Never cover the transmitter unit (with clothes etc.)
> Never try to open the device
> Disconnect the device from the power outlet after use
> To clean the device, please disconnect it from the power outlet and
use a dry cloth only
> Do not use or store the device in direct sunlight, danger of overheat
If the safety instructions are not followed, this may cause damage to
the device or serious injury to the user!

adjustment of the coding:
After opening the battery compartments (3) you can choose between
16 codings at the channel selection switch (4). Transmitter and receiver
must be adjusted to the same coding (see 23)
If the coding of transmitter and receiver is not identical the LED "Range
Alarm" (17) signals, that there is no connection between transmitter
and receiver.
mains operation/mobile use:
You can use the transmitter / receiver in mains operation or also with
batteries or rechargeable batteries.
mains operation:
Connect the power adapters to transmitter and receiver and plug the
power adapter into the mains outlet plug.
mobile use of transmitter (1):
Insert 4 x Alkaline AAA batteries or rechargeable batteries according to
the polarity into the battery compartment (3) of the transmitter.
Caution: Inserted rechargeable batteries cannot be charged inside the
transmitter!
mobile use of receiver (2):
Insert the included battery pack into the battery compartment (3) and
plug the battery pack into the socket (12) of the receiver.
Caution: Rechargeable battery pack must be charged min. 5 hours
before first use!
charging of receiver:
Contact the power adapter to the receiver and also to the mains outlet
plug. The green light of the battery control indicator (10) shows the
charging of the battery pack. Depending to the capacity the charging
time is up to max. 7-8 hours.
main switch:
The transmitter and receiver can be switched on and turned off by the
"main switch" (5). The green LED (6) signals that the unit is switched on.
battery status indicator:
Transmitter (1) and receiver (2) have a battery status indicator (10).
"RED"signals that the battery power last for max. 3-5 hours. To
guarantee a trouble-free transmission over a longer time period we
recommend to replace the batteries at the transmitter or to recharge the
battery of the receiver!
If the battery status lindicator does not light during use, the state of
charge of the batteries and battery pack is ok.
automatic voice control of the transmitter:
It is possible to adjust the microphone sensitivity of the automatic voice
control (7) at the transmitter (1). The receiver unit transmitts sounds
to the receiver depending on the volume of the sound heard (e.g. baby
whimpering or loud crying). When the transmitter is activated by a
noise, the transmitter indicator light (8) lights "RED
volume of receiver:
The volume of the receiver can be adjusted directly at the volume
control wheel (9)
optical volume indication of receiver:
In addition to the acoustic noise control up to 5 green LED´s (13) gives
signal. Depending on the volume up to max. 5 green LED`s indicates
the noise.
night light function:
The integrated night light function works only when the transmitter is
powered with the power adapter. By using the switch "Nightlight" (15)
the night light (16) can be activated.
