SECTION A: Getting to know your Flood Barrier

FLOOD BARRIER SPECIFICATIONS

Correctly installed, the Dam Easy

Flood Barrier creates

a watertight seal within the reveals of suitable external

doorways, providing flood protection up to 600mm/23.6in

Each barrier comprises of;

• a fixed centre panel and two extendible side panels

controlled by a ratchet handle with reverse direction

switch, to adjust to the width of suitable doorways

• an inflatable seal, connected to a pump mechanism with

built-in air pressure gauge, which surrounds the extended

barrier to create a watertight seal

CAUTION

We recommend not to install the barrier within a door frame

(timber, aluminum etc.), install only within solid reveals.

Suitable Doorway

To achieve a watertight seal and allow clearance to close

the door, reveals must be smooth, solid, verticle and

parallel, minimum size;

• Width 780 – 1100mm / 30.7in – 43.3in (single barrier)

• Width >1100mm+ / >43.3in+ (multiple barriers)

• Height 720mm / 28.3in

• Depth 75mm / 3in (single barrier installation)

• Depth 120mm / 4.7in (multiple barrier installation)

Doorstep must be smooth, solid and horizontal,

at right angles to reveals

TOP TIP: The Dam Easy

Extension System may be suitable to install multiple barriers in

series for reveals greater than 1100mm/43.3in wide,
