DIRECTIONS FOR SET-UP
• Carefully remove your fireplace, cup, handled snuffer and decorative rocks from the box and plastic wrappers
• Put the handled snuffer over the cup and place the decorative rocks on the top of the fireplace around the cup
• Only burn a GEL FUEL CAN made for fireplaces in this fireplace. Be sure to remove the paper label from the can, remove
the can lid and place the can in the fireplace cup
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
• ONLY USE GEL FUEL CANS made for fireplaces with your fireplace
• Be sure to remove the paper label from the can
• Carefully remove the can lid from the fuel can and place it in the cup in the fireplace
• Using a long wand lighter, light the gel fuel in the can.
• If a rock or any other object has fallen into the fuel, remove before lighting OR extinguish immediately and remove the
object once fuel is cool before relighting. Never burn if a foreign object is in the fuel
• It may take a few attempts to light the fuel as it is the vapors that burn and may take a few seconds to ignite. Flame may
seem low and blue at first, but within a few minutes, it will become orange dancing flames
• To extinguish the flame, take the handled snuffer and place it over the cup, cutting off the supply of oxygen to the fuel. To
be sure the flame is extinguished, make sure the lid/snuffer is centered over the can for a proper fit and wait at least 2
minutes
• Always double check the flame has gone out completely in the can before handling, relighting, replacing can, moving
fireplace or leaving it unattended.
• If there is fuel remaining in the can, replace the can's lid in order to relight it at a later time.
• NEVER REFILL THE FUEL CAN WITH FUEL TAKEN FROM ANOTHER CAN OR FUEL SOURCE
• NEVER TOUCH OR MOVE THE FIREPLACE WHILE LIT OR STILL HOT
• Never remove the empty can while lit of still hot
• Never throw out the empty can in the garbage until it has cooled to room temperature
DIRECTIONS FOR RELIGHTING
• If there is Gel fuel remaining in the can from previous use, remove can lid, use a long wand lighter and relight
• If your fuel can burns out and you want to continue to use the fireplace, ALWAYS PLACE THE LID/DAMPER over the cup for
at least 2 minutes to ensure the flame is completely extinguished
• Once the empty fuel can is cool (approx 5 -10 minutes) remove and replace with a new gel fuel can following the lighting
