Protective earth

» Follow all applicable standards and provisions for electrical

installation

An additional protective earth connection is

required. It ensures that the drive is always

earthed. If the earth connection is not used,

the motor housing can carry voltage in case

of failure.

WARNING

» Connect an additional protective

earth

» Keep the minimum section

» Connect all accessible metallic motor parts to protective

earth, if the voltage supply of the motor is not galvanically

insulated

» Make the protective earth connection with the earth screw in

the terminal box
