To center the treadmill belt:

1. First, be sure treadmill is on a level surface.

Run treadmill to check the condition. If the

belt has drifted to the right, pull out the safety

lock and switch. Turn the right adjusting bolt

near end cap 1/4 turn clockwise, then run until

belt centers. Be careful when tightening and

loosening bolts as less is more. Perform only

a quarter-inch turn at a time. Test your work

by turning the treadmill on to its lowest setting

for 30 seconds. If belt seems to be properly

aligned, your work is done. If not, then adjust

further; just do so in small increments. A

2. If the belt has drifted to the left, pull out of the

safety lock and switch. Turn the left adjusting

bolt 1/4 turn clockwise, then run unit until belt

centers. B

3. Check the belt for looseness periodically. Pull

out safety lock and switch, turn the left and

right adjusting bolt 1/4 turn clockwise.

Re-start treadmill to confirm the belt tightness

and run until the belt is correct. C
