Guide the restraint belts out of the vehicle, down the ramp

and attach them to the wheelchair frame. Once attached,

press the switch again to lock the restraints from further

release.

Using the winch remote, press the 'IN' button, just until

the webbing becomes taut from the winch unit to the

wheelchair.

Move behind the wheelchair and hold the handles. Press

the 'IN' button on the remote control and slowly enter the

vehicle. It is important to remain behind the wheelchair for

guidance at all times.

Use the 'IN' and "OUT" buttons on the winch remote as

necessary, until the wheelchair is positioned correctly

inside the vehicle.

Disconnect the winch attachment from the wheelchair and

the winch unit, and store it somewhere safe and secure.

Ensure the front restraints are still attached to the

wheelchair correctly. Then fit the remainder of your

restraint system, referring to your restraint handbook for

more information should you need to.
