3.8 Operation Mode Selection – Full or Half Duplex Operation
The BWI900 terminal provides the option to operate the terminal in either Full Duplex
mode (hands free – No PTT Required) or Half Duplex (PTT Mode – PTT button on the
front of the terminal required to transmit audio). The button on top of terminal is the
Operation Mode Selection button. Depress and hold the button down till the TALK text on
the display is either present or not.
"TALK" = Full Duplex
No "TALK" = Half Duplex (TALK will then display when the PTT button is depressed)
