Decalcifying the Stainless Steel Tank

We recommend de - scaling the boiler on a regular basis (the best time interval varies depending

on water hardness and frequency of use of the appliance) ask an Authorised Service Centre.

Iron

With this professional steam iron you will save plenty of time and obtain the best ironing results.

Please note:

When ironing sensitive materials such as silk, velvet, velour, synthetic fibres etc, the Teflon sole plate

(optional) is recommended.

How to use: fill the boiler. For the filling procedure see: 'Preparing the appliance ready for use'.

- Flick the accessory socket door (5) wide open and fit the

quick connection of the iron to the socket on the front of the

appliance. Press the connection in as far as it will go.

- Close the accessory socket door (5) so that is rests on the

body of the quick connection and check that the two elements

are properly engaged. Page 9, Fig. 8.

- Switch on the machine at the main switch (2) and push the

boiler heating button (8). As soon as the green (operation

ready) control lamp (10) is on, you can work with the iron.

- Operate the steam button (13) on the control panel (3) to

adjust the steam volume to the min. position.

- Adjust the iron temperature to the fabric to be ironed using

the temperature knob (B). Fig. 19

- Push the steam on/off button (A) on the handle of the iron

to activate or deactivate the steam function. Fig. 18
