Always disconnec{ electric supply cord from the

wall outlet or serviice disconnect before servicing

this appliance.

The open top grates should be level and not rock.

They are supported in three places by leveling

screws and should be adjusted after final place-

ment of the range.

The grill and griddle sections are fastened in

place at the front with screws. They are designed

to be stationary and not meant to be removed for

cleaning.

The griddle has two leveling screws beneath the

rear flue cover which can be used to adjust the

griddle to the desired slope. The center screw is

for shipping and should be removed.

Observe all governing codes and ordinances when

grounding, in the absence of which, observe

National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No. 70-

1990.

RECOMMENDED GROUNDING

METHOD

This appliance is j~ctory equipped with a power

supply cord with a three-prong grounding plug

(with polarized pa.rallel blades). It must be

plugged into a ma.ting grounding, type receptacle,

connected to a correctly polarized 120 Volt cir-

cuit. If the circuil: does not have a grounding

type receptacle, it is the responsibility and obliga-

tion of the installt~r or used to have the existing

receptacle change~i to a properly grounded and

polarized receptac:le in accordance with all applic-

able local codes and ordinances by a qualified

electrician. In th(~ absence of local codes and

ordinances the receptacle replacement shall be in

accordance with the National Electrical Code.

Verify the type of gas supplied to the location

The range is shipped from the factory set up and

adjusted for natural gas. The unit can be readily

converted to LP gas. After LP conversion, burner

adjustment may be necessary.
