CHILD SEAT REMOVAL
CHILD REMOVAL
CAUTION! Two people are required to safely remove the
!
child from the seat.
With one person holding the bicycle:
1. Remove foot straps from child's feet.
2. For Limo, lift the overhead pull-down bar to its open
position. For Taxi, swing the grab bar to its open position.
3. Unfasten the buckle between the childʼs legs.
4. Lift the harness over the childʼs head.
5. Remove child from seat.
SEAT REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear Security Bar from the rear Security Catch.
2. Push down with your thumb on the front Security Catch
while simultaneously pulling up on the rear Security Catch.
3. Slide the seat rearward until it is free of the EXPEDITION 1 or
EXPEDITION 1 Disc rack.
CAUTION! Be careful to keep your ngers from getting

caught in the rack.
OFF BIKE USE
(Limo Model Only)
The Limo is designed to be used as a convenient
free-standing child seat when removed from the bicycle.
To Use:
1. Unlock the overhead pull-down bar
and pivot it as far back as possible so
that it is in contact with the rear
Security Catch on the back of the seat.
2. Pull down gently on the rear Security
Catch and insert the overhead
pull-down bar into the catch.

3. Place the seat on solid, level ground
and the Limo doubles as a convenient
baby chair.

MAINTENANCE, CARE AND STORAGE
SEAT MAINTENANCE: Your seat is designed for low mainte-
nance and easy care. Periodically inspect the seat for
damage, cracks, etc. Replace at rst sign of damage
SEAT BODY/SEAT PAD CARE: Your Copilot seat can be easily
cleaned with any mild soap or detergent and warm water.
Do not use any abrasives, solvents, petroleum distillates or
bleach. Wipe dry. Drip dry pads. Do not machine dry.
STORAGE: When not in use, store your seat in a dry,
well-ventilated area. Make sure seat is dry before storing.
Keep your seat out of the sun when not in use. Do not store
the seat attached to your bike. ALWAYS CHECK ALL PARTS
EVERY TIME YOU USE YOUR SEAT!
LIMITED WARRANTY
Any Copilot child seat determined by Copilot to be defective
in materials or workmanship within (1) year from the date of
original retail purchase will be repaired or replaced, at
Copilotʼs option, free of charge when received at the factory
freight prepaid, together with proof of purchase.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties. Any
implied warranties of merchantability or tness for a particu-
lar purpose are limited to the same duration as this express
warranty.
Copilot shall not be liable for any incidental or consequen-
tial damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitations of implied warranties, incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not
apply to you.
This warranty does not cover anything resulting from misuse,
abuse, neglect, alteration, failure to perform maintenance
as instructed, or unauthorized repair or service.
