When it barks, your dog will hear and/or receive a stimulus. The dog
will make the connection between its barking and the stimulus and will
stop barking. It may take your dog several days before making that
association.
Without the collar, your dog will go back to barking.
The collar must not be round your dog's neck all the time but only when
you want it not to bark.
III - USING THE DEVICE
3.1 - Choice of electrodes
2 sets of electrodes are provided.
Choose the electrodes according to your dog's hair:
• long-haired dog = long electrodes
• short-haired dog = short electrodes
To fix the electrodes on the collar, clamping by hand, with no tools, is
sufficient.
3.2 - Inserting the battery
Unscrew the battery panel with the disc/screwdriver.
Insert the 3V lithium battery observing the polarity shown on the unit.
3.3 - Switching the device on
Move the disc/magnet quickly over of the green point (magnetic
contact): there is an audible beep + the green LED lights up for 50
ms: the device is ready for use.
The collar is set to mode 1 (cf. Section 4 "Different operating modes")
The device is ready (waiting for barking): the green LED flashes every
4 seconds.

3.4 - Adjusting the collar to the dog's neck
Place the collar on the dog's neck, tightening it sufficiently (put a finger
between the collar and the animal's neck).
Check your dog's neck regularly. Do not use the collar for more than
8 hours a day.
IV - OPERATING MODES

4.1 - Operating modes

Each stimulus is shown by the LED lighting up.
Mode 1: Emission of an audible beep and 8 gradual levels of electrostatic
stimuli depending on the barking frequency.
Operating principle
An audible beep precedes the electrostatic stimulus so that the dog
makes the connection between the beep and the stimulus.
On the first barking, a beep and a level 1 electrostatic stimulus are given
off, warning the dog. If the dog continues barking within 10 seconds,
it receives a second, level 2, electrostatic stimulus.
The increase continues until the barking stops or it reaches level 8. The
dog adjusts the electrostatic stimulus to its level of sensitivity.
The level of stimulus at which the dog stopped barking is stored in
memory until the next barking.
If there is no barking for 5 minutes, the intensity of the stimulus goes
down one level and so on down to level 1. Your dog will not receive
more than two level 8 static corrections. After the 2nd level 8 correc-
tion, the collar automatically switches back to level 1 and reinitiates the
graduated procedure.
