Designed to comply with BS EN 200 for single taps/ combination
taps for water systems of type 1 and 2 general technical
specifications and to be used within systems designed to BS 6700.
BS 6700 recommends the temperature of stored water should
never exceed 65°C. A stored water temperature of
60°C is considered sufficient to meet all nominal requirements
and will minimise the build up of lime scale in hard
water areas.

This mixer is suitable for use at all supply pressures, however for optimum use both hot and cold supplies should
be reasonably balanced. If the fitting is installed at low pressure (tank fed), then the minimum height from the
Bath shower mixer to the underside of the cold tank should be at least 5.0 metres to ensure adequate shower
performance.
This mixer should be installed in compliance with Water Regulations. For further details please contact your local
Water Authority.
Where the supplies are unbalanced i. e. hot water from the cylinder tank and cold from the mains, approved
check valves must be fitted in the supply pipes.
1. Identify all components are present prior to installation.
2. Fit the mixer body (1) to the bath and secure using the rubber washers (2) and backnuts (3) below the bath.
Connect the hot and cold water supplies.
3. Fit the hose (4) to the mixer (1) and the handset (9) using the small sealing washers (5). To adjust the hose
outlet position, loosen screw (f) then rotate the hose outlet to desired position. Secure in place with grub screw
(f).
4. Fix the wall bracket (8) to the wall using screw (7) and wall plug provided, ensuring the handset will reach it.
Attach the bracket handset holder (6).
5. Fully open both valves letting the water run for a few minutes to flush the system and check joints and
connections for leaks.
6. Operate the mixer in both bath and shower mode. To switch from bath fill to shower mode simply pull the
diverter knob (e) up. After use the mixer automatically reverts back to bath filling mode.
