To connect the battery holder, solder the red wire to "Power In" pad marked '+' then solder the black wire to the "Power In" pad

marked '-' . To connect the buzzer, solder the red wire to the "Buzzer" pad marked '+' and solder the black wire to the "Buzzer" pad

marked '-' .

Step 2 - Insert Programmed MCU IC into IC Socket

If you edited the code, download the program to the MCU using MPLAB or other PIC programming equipment. Then install the MCU

to the 8-pin socket on the board.

Step 3 - Drill Enclosure

Drill LED mounting holes in the back and side of the enclosure. Drill a total of four holes that are 1/4 inch in diameter. Equally space

them across the middle of the box with two holes on the front and one hole on each side.

Step 4 - Insert LED Mounts

Insert LED mounts by inserting one clear LED mount in each of the four drilled holes.

Step 5 - Attach Components

Apply velcro tape to the back of the PCB, battery holder, and buzzer and attach these to the inside of the enclosure.

Step 6 - Install LEDs and Finish

Insert LEDs into LED mounts and apply some silicone around the edges for waterproofing. Install the batteries and place the lid back

on the enclosure. Now you can place your new device in the garden to keep the deer and other wildlife away!
