Assembly

Fitting and changing the blades

Caution: wear gloves to remove the blades to avoid injury. Keep your hands

away from the on/off switch.

There are two blades supplied with your shears, a long one for trimming

hedges and shrubs and a smaller one for cutting grass. The small one should

already be fitted when you receive your shears.

Removing a fitted blade

Hold the handle with one hand and press the blade release button (2).

With your other hand, pull the blade downwards and it will come away

from the shears with the black plastic housing attached.

Holding the blade with one hand, and the housing in the other, pull the

housing away from the blade.

Fitting a blade

Take the blade housing off the blade you have just removed. Fit the

blade housing to the blade you want to attach.

Position the blade and house at the angle it came from and push it

into the location.

You will hear a click when it has locked into position, check it is secure

by applying pressure.
